The popularity of KORS with retail buyers has been put down to its timing, businesslike approach and no-pressure format allowing buyers to spend quality time with people and products – something that's not always possible at OutDoor.

The focused, no-frills approach will be retained for this years show with the prospect of well over 70 brands represented at the show. Exhibitors include: Allcord/Rosker, Anatom, Big Stone, Bramwell International, Brasher,Cicerone, DB Outdoor Systems, DMM, Equip, First Ascent, Hi-tec, Lyon Equipment, Mountain Boot Co, Nikwax, Terra Nova, TKC, Vaude and Zamberlan. The addition of a tent show at next year's event will further increase its appeal to buyers and journalists alike.
The exhibition management including Mountain Boot Co, Lyon Equipment, Chris Davidson Agencies, Bramwell International and DB Outdoor Systems has also announced the appointment of Ascent Marketing Communications, headed by Clive Allen to undertake KORS organisation and media management for the 2009 event. The team would like to extend its genuine thanks to Lyon Equipment and in particular Paul and Michelle for handling the coordination of KORS for the past three years and assisting in making the event so successful.
