The Epicentre Gearing up for Winter

The First snow has fallen and the first routes have been climbed, make the Epicentre your one stop shop this winter. We will have conditions reports for both the Lakes and Scotland and the low down on the latest gear. Our super keen staff are ready to make this a great season.

Steve Ashworth will be leading up our team of motivated staff to bring you the latest winter climbing conditions form both the Lakes and Scotland. With his mixedmaster blog now at the Epicentre you will know what is going on from Gable Crag to Blea Water Beck. These on the ground reports will be backed up with up to the minute weather information from our weather station which will be going live any day.

As well as all the latest from the Lakes and Scotland we will bring you regular bulletins from our friends in Chamonix, and at AlpBase in the Ecrins to let you know what's going on further a field.

We will bring you all the latest new route information and no doubt there will be the usual tales of daring adventure, we can't wait.
