Climb Magazine Re-Design

© Climb magazine

CLIMB Magazine relaunches this month with a fantastic new look and massive free centrefold poster.

Big changes from the September issue (on sale now)... CLIMB has a brighter, fresher look, unveiling a new masthead, cover design and layout. The paper has changed to a modern uncoated finish, benefiting from being more environmentally-friendly and easier on the eye.

We have resisted the pattern of other titles to revert to the standard A4 size, believing big is beautiful. Keeping an oversize format ensures the unsurpassed photography is displayed to its finest.

The September issue also includes a gatefold centre-spread poster for readers to pull out and keep. Double-sided, the poster has a massive panorama on one side and four individual images on the reverse. More stunning pull-out posters will feature in future issues.

Our goal is to always ensure we bring you the best magazine possible, so everyone's feedback is welcome. We'd love to know what you think - Email us at moreinfo@climbmagazine.com with your thoughts and comments.

You can pick up a copy of the new look CLIMB Magazine at all major newsagents, specialist outdoor retailers, climbing walls as well as Tesco superstores.

I'm not entirely convinced the photo's benefit from the new paper but I guess if it's more environmentally-friendly then it's to be commended. Also, not sure how commercially successful the homemade look will prove to be.

I remember getting free posters of New Kids on the Block in my Smash Hits magazine as well. Not sure how that helps sales of a climbing mag but oh well.

Thought it looked quite good during the very brief look I had at it. I say "very brief", because I had to put it back on the shelf pretty quickly. This might not be a complaint that you were expecting, and it could just be the batch, but it stank! Something in the print process gave off quite a strong smell. Sorry, wasn't tempted to buy it :o(

Cheaper paper and a free poster. Call that big changes? What about writing decent articles? Wouldn't that be better?

Was very imprssed, the photos look amazing. Layout was not really any different, just looked strange. Still way better than Climber.
