The region around Fontainebleau in France is particularly famous for its concentrated bouldering areas. French alpine climbers practiced bouldering there since the 19th century. It remains today a prime climbing location. It is possibly the most developed bouldering area in the world.

Our experienced, enthusiastic and professional staff will come and collect you from Fontainebleau train station, and look after you for the whole holiday. We’ll drive you to and from the campsite (where your accomodation will be set up for you – each person gets their own individual tent), coach you at the climbing venues, cook you your meals, and even give you suggestions for your rest days (should you need any). Once your holiday is over the Rock Over Climbing staff will take you back to Fontainebleau train station, where you can catch a train to Paris and either fly, or eurostar back to the UK.

For an minimal extra cost, Rock Over Climbing can even organise the travel to and from Fontainebleau. Grades range from 1a (total beginner) skywards, and with our instructors on hand we’ll make sure you can really get the most out of the amazing climbing and scenery that Font has to offer.
