Brand new for 2016 The Elevate Climbing Competition is a brand new climbing competition concept!

A friendly, inclusive climbing competition for climbers of all ages and abilities. Elevate includes both top-rope and lead climbing routes, with scoring designed to reward effort and progression.

Sponsored by British climbing company DMM there are a host of great prizes for each category, as well as rewards for the most committed climbers and bonus prizes for the best online videos shared via the hashtag #elevateclimbingcomp.

Each round lasts for two weeks to a month, depending on the centre, giving you plenty of time to maximise your score, over the variety of top-rope and lead routes set by a team of professional route-setters. For anyone who isn’t comfortable lead climbing just yet, there are specially discounted Learn to Lead courses available throughout Elevate to help you progress into the next level of your indoor climbing, and make the most of the competition!

So whether you are a seasoned climber, or have only just started, Elevate is a great way to compete against your peers, progress your climbing through the winter months, meet new people and have fun with the great sport of indoor climbing.
