International Women's Day with London Ladies Climb at The Castle Press Release

The Castle logo , 19 kb The Castle will be holding a bouldering event with London Ladies Climb (LLC) to celebrate IWD on 8th March. The theme for International Women’s day this year is #BeBoldForChange.

The event intends to encourage female participation in climbing, proving that it can be enjoyed by everyone. LLC hold regular events at other walls, supporting women achieve their goals, whatever level they’re climbing at. In conjunction with #BeBoldForChange the event will bust some of those myths around climbing, promoting an inclusive climbing environment for everyone to enjoy.

Everyone will meet at the Castle for a social climb and takeover the Castle’s Instagram account for an evening. To help support and encourage more women to give climbing a go, entry fees for LLC members and friends will be significantly reduced for the evening!

If you’re not an existing member of the LLC, but would like to get involved or find out more, please email the LLC (londonladiesclimb@gmail.com) or Castle Climbing Centre (amy@castle-climbing.co.uk).
