Join us for the fourth Arc’teryx Lakeland Revival and help revive the spirit of Lake District climbing. The Lakeland Revival will kick off on the 29th April at the Arc’teryx Big Mountain Weekend located at the Sticklebarn, Langdale. This will be a weekend for celebrating the climbing and mountains in the Lake District, and bringing together the community.
The Big Mountain Weekend will be based around two days of workshops ranging from scrambling, to multi pitch rock climbing and are open to complete beginners, intermediates and experienced climbers. The workshops will be run by the International School of Mountaineering & British Mountain Guides.

How to take part in the Arc’teryx Lakeland Revival
If you want to get involved in some Lakeland Revival action this summer then check out our recommended routes list. This year we have the expertise of Ron Kenyon and friends from Fell & Rock Climbing Club heading up the routes list. There are a variety of themes including; Scrambles, Hidden Classics, Lakeland Gems and for those who want an extra challenge you can get stuck into the Enchainements.
You can view the routes and details HERE but you must pop into one of the local retailers (Needle Sports, The Climber’s Shop or George Fisher) to collect and submit your route card (available from the 29th April). You will receive an Arc’teryx T-shirt or beanie when you submit your card.

Step by step guide!
1) Check out the list of recommended routes HERE and choose your climb.
2) You need to make sure you pop into one of the designated retailers to collect your Route Card. In the North: George Fisher & Needle Sports are both based in Keswick. In the South: The Climber’s Shop is based in Ambleside
3) Go climbing!
4) Once you have climbed your route head back to the retailer and submit your Route Card and in exchange you will be given an Arc’teryx T-shirt or beanie*.
*Please note: For as long as stock lasts. One item per route.
