Now in its eighth year the WCS continues its tour around the country, returning to London to connect, develop and inspire women's climbing through collective climbing experiences, the latest research and the best coaching.
This year's event will take place at the newly-opened HarroWall in NW London on Saturday 6 October. Tickets will go on sale on the WCS website from 26 March.
Tom Hull, LCC Area Manager says: "HarroWall are extremely proud to be hosting the Women's Climbing Symposium in our inaugural year. HarroWall very much shares the WCS principles of connect, develop and inspire when it comes to climbing, and we look forward to welcoming some very psyched women to the largest bouldering centre in the UK."
WCS Founder and Co-Director, and two-time IFSC World Cup Champion Shauna Coxsey says: "I'm so excited about this year's event! Every year we take on participant feedback and adapt our programme to make sure we continually connect, develop and inspire women climbers. We're already working hard to make 2018 the biggest and best year yet."
Over the last seven years, WCS has gone from strength to strength drawing participants from all over the UK and Europe, and even Australia, Canada and the USA. Last year's event sold out with months to go, with a rare UK appearance from the legendary Lynn Hill not to be missed.
