We are excited to announce that since building our small wall a couple of years ago, we are mid way through expanding our bouldering facility so that it is big enough to open it out to the public. The support so far has been huge and we are calling on all local climbers and adventurers to help support us to make an amazing community facility in the heart of the Hope Valley.

This means:

• 180m2 extra climbing surface
• 7 graded, coloured circuits each with 15 problems
• Brand new, carpeted crash pads throughout
• An LED Moon board with over 50,000 problems
• Training and Campus Board facility
• Open hours like a typical climbing wall with the addition of an out-of-hours members club
• Facility for kids and novices through to lifelong climbers and a training facility
• 2000 new holds en-route
• Heating and Ventilation system
• Hope Valley Bouldering Comp (set by Percy Bishton)
• Opening party!

When is this happening?

What are we going to spend the money on?

We have already raised the bulk of the capital for this project from other sources and as promised to all members (from day 1), all proceeds we have raised so far are going towards the wall, we also have the support from a grant towards the build cost. We are turning to Crowd Funder to help us raise extra capital to make the wall spec absolutely amazing, the more we raise the more we can pump into the holds heating, lighting, holds collection, facilities, sound system and much more!
