Vote and win your favourite new outdoor products online now!
To coincide with the first day of the 2020 online Kendal Mountain Festival (KMF), online voting for the UK Outdoor Industry Awards 2021 is now open, which provides an opportunity for consumers to select their favourite new outdoor products. Votes can be placed HERE.
All votes will be entered in a draw to win one of the entrants' products and further details will be provided in due course on the voting page.
Not only can outdoor enthusiasts vote for their favourite finalists online (via the OIA website), but they will also be able to vote in person and see all the entries at the National Outdoor Expo (27th – 28th March 2021, NEC, Birmingham) where 90 products from nine categories will be presented on display boards to over 20,000 visitors at the NEC in Birmingham.
In previous years all products entered were on display and shortlisted by a panel of expert judges in July at the Outdoor Trade Show (OTS) but this year, due to COVID and the postponement of the event, all entries will be included in the public vote, which together with the judging panel will decide the winner's for each of the nine categories.
The judging panel comprises experts from the outdoor industry and will include key journalists and retailers. Confirmed judges include Will Renwick ( Editor, Outdoorsmagic) Sian Lewis (Freelance writer and magazine editor, The Girl Outdoors) Andy Green (Commercial Director, SportPursuit), Matt Jones (outdoor writer and editor, Matt Jones) Gary Martin (Editor, Caravan and Motorhome Club Magazine) Jon Doran (Gear Editor, Trek & Mountain).
Online voting will remain open until the 2nd April 2021, and the winners of each category will be officially announced at the Outdoor Industries Association's (OIA) annual Conference & AGM on the 21st April 2021. After the awards ceremony, news of the winners will be shared via various media publications for both the consumer and the industry.

We need your help.
UKClimbing is a vibrant web site with rich content and an amazing community. So far, all we've asked of you is that you visit and interact with the site but we are in uncertain times. We need to look at ways to keep the site moving forward whilst maintaining our key aim of allowing free access to everyone to our main content. The site will continue to be mainly funded by a subtle level of outdoor-only advertising but we now need extra support to ensure we can continue to provide the UKC that we all know and love.
You can help us by becoming a UKC Supporter. This can be in a small way or in a larger package that includes discounted products from our sister-publishing company Rockfax.
