Win 1 of 2 new Petzl SIROCCO Helmets

Petzl's latest designs reflect over 30 years of helmet development and innovation including the iconic ECRIN ROC, METEOR and the original ultra-lightweight SIROCCO. Comfortable, simple to adjust and lightweight, Petzl helmets play an essential role as safety equipment for vertical activities.

The re-designed SIROCCO has been developed to respond to the needs of climbers and mountaineers for reduced weight and for increased protection. Its new head-covering shape, lower in the rear, offers reinforced protection. Optimized volume on the head, along with excellent ventilation, provide maximum comfort.

New Alpkit Hathersage Store

At Alpkit we've just opened our very first store. It's in the heart of the peak district: Hathersage. It's not any old store, it is a big store, it is a prominent store, it is an audacious store, it’s that kind of store that inspired us when we set out. Boy is it going to take some getting used to.

Our store not represents our range of outdoor equipment, it will also consist of a dedicated room for our Sonder bikes too, with in house Bike Guru, Demo Bikes and workshop.

We really hope that we can do Hathersage and its community justice and help maintain the long standing tradition it has as a destination for those who just love getting outdoors and enjoying all sorts of activities. The store is on Main Road in Hathersage, right next the brilliant Coleman’s Deli and just up the road from those lovely guys at Outside.

This bank holiday weekend we've got some special events on in Hathersage, including: a Repair Station for your kit, Guided Runs and Navigation for Trail Running. Find out more on our Facebook Page.

Come down, check it out, have a chat, look at some great kit. Find us at:
