The Alpine Club gives away £10,000 EVERY YEAR!

The Alpine Club is the oldest national alpine club in the world and has been involved in the development of international mountaineering since 1857.

In 2007 the AC decided to celebrate their 150th anniversary by creating a new fund to help alpinists to explore and climb exciting new challenges all over the world.

The AC Climbing Fund is funded by an internal investment grant of £75,000 from the AC and an annual donation from the well known-climbing equipment suppliers, First Ascent.
