Arc’teryx Lakeland Revival & The Climbers Shop

After a fantastic launch at the Big Mountain Weekend in April the 2017 Lakeland Revival has begun!

Now in its’ fourth year, there are four whole months for you to head to the Lakes and enjoy a wide range of climbs in some stunning locations. Grades range from scrambles to well in to the E’s to encourage climbers of all abilities to take part and enjoy traditional climbing where it all began.

A list of recommended routes is online and we also have route cards in the shop to inspire you. Don’t forget to have a chat with the staff too as many of them have a broad and varied experience of Lake District climbing, especially after kicking off the Revival with a team ascent of the classic Middlefell Buttress in Langdale a few weeks ago.

The ethos of this years event is about reviving Lake District climbing as a whole – the routes, the history, the stories, the characters and the myths and legends from the Lakeland valleys. All you need to do is pick a route, have a fantastic day out, make your own memories and then pop into The Climbers Shop to hand in your route card. You’ll even get a t-shirt.
