Will Bosi has made the second ascent of Aidan Roberts' boulder, Isles of Wonder SDS (f8C+), at Carreg Mianog Boulders, North Wales. Initially graded at 8C+, Will has suggested a downgrade to 8C. The boulder, and its intense shouldery sequence, was one of the featured climbs in Mastery, a documentary about first ascensionist Aidan Roberts and his recent bouldering endeavours. Aidan broke the boulder down as 'Hard 8C to the stand, then 8B to the top', the second half being Pete Robins' pre-existing 8B boulder Isles of Wonder (f8B). Aidan further shared that the sit down start was 'maybe the best boulder [he had] ever developed'. |
