"Colour landscape. Love interesting light and trying to capture the darkness and light usually used in black and white on colour. The most difficult lighting conditions can give the most rewarding results - when the going gets tough the tough get going. Don't like to make everything in a photo too obvious - like to leave some parts under-exposed or shrouded in mist so the viewer's mind can fill them in - photography is painting with light but it's also about the viewer's interaction with the photograph - they fill in parts of the photograph that are ambiguous, they interpret what they see - it's as much an examination of the viewer as of the subject."
