"Always try and have a camera on me. Over the past couple of years climbing has taken a back seat to snapping. The balance has been returned this year. Advent of digital has revolutionised my photography. I used to spend £10 on a slide film, ration my shots carefully and still would be lucky to get more than a couple of "keepers" in a roll. Since turning to digital following a trip to Oz in 2003 I gone through a host of cameras (starting with a very basic point n shoot compact with the (then) standard 3.2MP sensor. Took the leap to a digital SLR 3yrs ago. Gravitated to Canons. Currently use a 40D and a Powershot G10."
