This crag lies at the grid reference given for the non tidal routes of Boscawen Point. We could not find these routes but climbed the red line on this decidedly tidal crag instead at about HVS/E1.Note climber for scale at top of crag.Is this Union Star cove? Can anyone tell me what the route is?

Can't help you but it's a good looking bit of rock.

If you were at Boscawen, Union Star cove was some way East just West of Tregiffian. If you climbed that line it could be new - contact Andy March who is revising the guide.

It looks the right place to me! Leuc Left etc. are located above and to the right (looking in) of the top of this sea-level buttress (if me memory serves me right as I haven't been there for nearly ten years!).

I have just found an old photo (which I will scan in and submit to the page for 'Leuc Down') of my wife, Katharine, abseiling down this cliff, so I can 100% confirm that it is the sea-level buttress of Boscawan point. 'Leuc Down'is the R to L facing crack in the right hand buttress on the photo.

Nice one Andy - it looks a good obvious line.
