no chalk but red paint, it is not wood rock.[not far], the use of walking shoes should be regarded as ethical but banned from doing so

why big boots on sandstone???? What are you doing??? damaging rock in a crazy crazy AND UNNECCESSARY WAY!!!!

No damage? Did you take all of the mud and grit off your big boots before you climbed? Just as, if not more, detrimental to the quality of the rock as chalk!
