As an ex Sheffielder living in British Columbia they captured well the atmosphere of a cold and damp Derbyshire day - quite nostalgic.
We have a real white Christmas here and the local ski hill, Silver Star, has 35 cm of fresh powder but the photos remind me that a climb or hike in Derbyshire followed by a pint or two in The Grouse takes some beating.
