I remember Ackers well, he was a mate in The Cioch but I'd never seen him without a beard, he came in the pub at Stoney one night and started talking to me as if he knew me, eventually I said 'who are you ,do I know you' 'It's me Ackers you daft sod', He looked totally different without a beard.
