The wildlife gallery is coming along nicely, with many excellent images, but I feel our native flora is a bit under-represented. So, to redress the balance, here is a selection of the flowers you are likely (or in some cases highly unlikely, unless you are knowledgeable or lucky) to find on a Scottish hillside. The gamut from the ubiquitous to the unique is covered, but the list is by no means comprehensive. They are arranged in very roughly seasonal order.
