I was getting a bit distracted by two things whilst taking this photo: 1) getting wet feet/tripod, 2) the otter playing in the surf :)

This is lovely. Did you manage to catch a pic of the otter?

Awesome Piccie Mikey, I really like the water affect in the foreground.!

Amazing shot.

Very nice but would be even better if you straightened the horizon.

Lovely muted, serene feel to this, well captured.A wee crit though, could you crop the vignette out on the top left and straighten the horizon whilst doing so.Cracking shot mate.

Is this an HDR shot, the shadows have that feel to them?

Everyone, thanks for your comments. They've all been most complimentary.
I did re-submit the photo with a straight horizon but for some reason or other it's not appeared.
The photo has not been touched up at all, I used a polariser then a 0.9 ND filter over the Cuillin and sky and an upside-down 0.6 ND filter over the sea to get the shutter speed down.
I did get a photo of the otter, but he's kinda small in the photo...

Lovely shot - one of the more natural images that I've seen from here.
