Found this 'orrible fat little b@sterd still alive and wriggling on the carpet tonight after getting back from 2 days mountain biking in Wales - I hope it fell off the dog and not me :o( - Chewwie commonly picks them up but I have never seen one so engorged that it fell off after finishing feeding.........disgusting........I have saved it in a jar..........flush down the loo? or something more imaginative?

Squeeze it from the rear. I did that once and the ticks head flew off, force out by a thin jet of blood.

I burn the wee bastards and get great enjoyment from doing so. I find ones just like that all the the time on the floor that have fallen off my dogs.
