This huge feature was missed out of any previous guidebooks and is just slightly hidden. There were 4 very short mixed sections of which the top ones gave intimidating but easy back & foot moves. A 30m pitch of superb easy ice gave entry to the main fault line seen below Icky.

Icky is a Skye stone mason who raved about the warmth of the rock all the way up here. Bloodloss and mild frostnip appears to be good for desensitising nerve endings for a guy used to battering his knuckles! He also climbed gloveless on the Birthday Breakout but only regretted not getting the Dachsteins out when we had to downclimb between the 2 summits.
