Cracking pics Iain.

this is my favoute of those you´ve just posted from january; good effort getting up there in the powder from my memory of most of that month.
the tooth is hidden by am basteir in the foreground but the shot does show the back of Sgurr a Fionn Choire very well. Route 1 breaks left around the impressive nose by the low diagonal ramp while Route 2 starts about the same place and rises towards the summit on the weaker line left of the main cleft. Doubt there is space in the guidebook for a topo these 2 routes so worth logging for anyone interested.

Great shot Iain, love it!

Thanks Mike, I've corrected the title. There had been a bit of a thaw that day so it was actually a long slog through porridge rather than powder but well worth the effort!
