Hi Brian,as I recall we climbed original route on Idwal Slabs,did the Snowdon Horseshoe,sped down a beach on the roof of a Landrover and got horribly drunk.All the usual stuff,Martin.

A first visit to Snowdonia... something to be treasured and remembered always.

This picture was taken at the police station at Bathampton(my Dad was the local bobby)and on his desk he had a 4 minute warning alarm,this was at the height of the cold war,this seems unbelievable to me now!

Great pic. Captures all that "heading off into the unknown" stuff which seems to have vanished, in the fully developed countries, anyway
