As you'd expect, you see a lot of weird stuff off the coast of Cornwall (see my other pic of a tornado). This was the best contrail shadow I've ever seen. The aircraft is actually only just below half way down the picture, but the contrail shadow continued all the way to the horizon as a dark beam, like it was sucking up the ocean - cool stuff!
