You know what Karl, this beautifully exposed. I just think if you cropped down the sky a bit it would emphasis the grass furrows in the foreground more and make the picture more satisfying...just a thought

You may well be right, Dave? Someone else suggested similarly last year for another pic which I cropped and it then looked odd (to me!) so I changed it back. I have several shots taken at the same spot with varying amounts of grass, sky, zoomed in and with differing light.

At the end of the day, it's personal preference. I'm sometimes surprised by the photo's of mine that other's like, yet those that I personally prefer are often the pictures that attract the least appreciation!
