Great shot. I came very close to falling off this, in 1970, with my only runner quite a long way below at the foot of the groove. The image of the surrounding rock is thus etched on my memory, which makes me think this picture is the wrong way round.

Thanks for the comments guys, and yes John the photo is the wrong way round. On most scans it would be obvious but not so much looking down First Slip forty three years later, particularly as we had done this climb facing both ways. Facing left is not very logical (but it does work) and I remember Pete Crew asking us if we were joking by doing it that way !
