The remote Pyrenean must-do 'Deja Vu' (F7a+) on El Caputxi - well worth the walk-in!

Awesome, makes you wanna jump into the shot and romp up that flake!

Wow!
I see it's naturally protected. Care to give it an English grade? I'm guessing around E5.

No, sadly it is bolted, albeit a little spaced on this flake section - hence the cams to fill the gaps. There's talk of removing the bolts, which would make sense on the middle two flake and crack pitches, but the first (6c+) and last (7b) pitches would be unprotectable on natural gear so it would make it a pretty unbalanced route. Still a fantastic route!

Hi Just looked through the rest of your pictures, i was told about this route "Deju Vu" on the same trip back in October, by a South African friend who lives in the Ariege and shown the picture in the Spanish guide (?) thought it looked awesome !!! Great to see someone has done it. Really enjoyed all your pictures having been to many of the venues shown. I am a big fan of the Pyrenees ( I have a house in the Ariege) and great to see other people exploring the lesser known areas.
