It doesn't need a title, its just the business!

I've just seen the one jarring note - that b***dy desecration of a footpath they've built up to Blea Tarn pass.

Actually this does need a title. I wish people would put more effort into their captions. Photos without captions or any location information might as well not be uploaded since they won't appear on searches, on crags on walks or anywhere that they might be useful to other users. They just appear in a gallery as nice photos but they could be so much more useful with better captions and locations indicated.

Well, that's me told, then. Alan, when I read your comment, for a few seconds I felt chastened, but this quickly changed to feeling a bit offended. This cap doesn't fit and I won't wear it, thanks very much. If many UKCers have uploaded more photos with helpful info on them than I have I'll be surprised. Just have a look.

Well it looks like the top of Stickle Ghyll with Lingmoor Fell behind and Coniston group at the back?

Not so far out. The big whaleback left skyline is Wetherlam; the asymmetric hump left mid-ground is Side Pike; the sunny hill in the middle is Blake Rigg. The viewpoint is east of White Gill.
