Wow! Good effort.

Thanks Mick. He was going very well even with a wrist injury. Mind you he was so tired afterwrds he nearly fell asleep in his soup that evening!

Amazing, I hope I can still climb when I'm 75.

Hat's off to your father. When I last went out seriously rock climbing a couple of years ago (at age 60) I could *just* manage E1. So, from my perspective, this is amazing.
Of course, your father's reputation is already cemented by what he did half a century ago (on Cloggy etc).

Thanks John, and great to hear you are still climbing within the extreme grade.

Your Pa's amazing but that was evident years ago back in the sixties. Ask him if he remembers his route Kangeroo on Black Crag in Borrowdale. It never got recorded and has maybe never been climbed since but the splendid top pitch (left side of the big roof) succumbed to his skill and perseverance. For me it remains one of my fondest memories. Keep going Rowland your are an example to us all.
Malcolm Knight.
