A good sporting day on the hill, climbing "Mousetrap" (600 feet) from Glen Clova, a 22 mile round trip.

The boots are tremendous, in a masochistic sort of way. Are they the 1lb 4oz Super Galibier Guide? This was my first boot -recommended by staff in Pindisports for UK mountaineering and must have had my dad quivering before he went to his grave with a shaking head as he climbed in the Alps with Klettershue and a well-curved pair of triconid boots from Robert Laurie's of Marble Arch.
I trust Syd and Graeme didnae climb Mousetrap in them?

Don’t you remember “Tuff” boots from Millets? They came with an unconditional, indestructible wear guarantee. They were great walking boots, super in scree, quite adequate up to VD, and a fraction of the price of Syd’s Super Galibiers which killed your feet on long walks. Good observation, though..... GNH :-)
