This looks spectacular. Granite?

No it's not. One of the guys I met there was a geologist and he said it was a something or other "...cite". A bit gneiss-like. I didn't catch it. Anyway, it is the roughest rock I've ever climbed on. Very crystally, though often climbs a bit like Font. Loads of Granite elsewhere in SW Norway, but this area is different.

What are blocs?
The Pylon King - 23/Mar/12
Scandinavian for 'blocks'.
