At sunset from the Monte Rosa Hut. HDR used to bring out the details. As always, comments and critiques welcome.

I like it Dan, lots of drama and interesting composition. Despite that, it does look a little flat, particularly on the Matterhorn itself, with the blacks not quite black. I know shooting straight into the Sun ill make some elements a little washed out, but maybe increase the contrast just a little?

Really like this image, does not look HDR, works for me...

Yeah better now Dan I reckon, what do you think?

Thanks Southern Man, you are right - its definitely got more bite to it now.

I think youve done well for such a high contrast scene, its not sci fi HDR which is always a bonus for me. It has an etheral quality about it...great shot.

cool photo, I like the lighting and shooting directly into the sun has made it a bit flat but i like the atmosphere it creates and atleast it looks more true to life!

Superb. Don't touch a thing. Increasing the contrast would wreck it. For me the shot is all about the hard, high contrast of the rock/now as being so different from the much gentler, ephemeral cloud and sunbeams.
