Nice set of photos John - if that is George seconding who took the photos, Cora ?
I remember us climbing on the Grochan around October of 1960, you were with Stead and I was with Mo. We climbed Kaisergebirge that day but I can't remember what you and Tony did.
I always found the top bit of Kaiser to be steep and difficult and thought that the companion route Karwendel ( I think one grade harder in the guide book) was an easier proposition.

Hi Cam, hope you and Hazel are well.I have been looking at afew photo's thought I would show a few, glad you like them so far.
The photo's were taken by Brian Hooper I think,he was the only one of the lads with a camera in those days, don't know were he is now, anyone know?.The guy with the hat I think is Johnny Griffiths.
How the hell do you remember who and when you climbed with 53 years ago!!,I certainley can't.
Take care love to Hazel John.
