At this point you're actually past the Keer. You're at Jenny Brown's Point and just behind the missus (by the trees) is Jack Scout Crag. You'd know the Keer by its stock car racing track and the old ironworks slag heaps! The estuary a few miles further on is the River Kent. The weather picked up in the afternoon - hope you got something decent on your way in to Arnside! Good cup of tea at the Beach Walk cafe.
