Great shot. Lovely even spread of tone over the whole image. Is this how it came out of the camera? I'm after a wide angle compact that produces images like this!

Looks slightly HDR'd to me, Jamie.

Very nice, I have a G11 and they are a very capable camera. As Dave Dear says, HDR or shadow/light ton=ne adjustment has been applied. You can see this most in the clouds. Great shot all the same.

Thanks guys. Jamie I've only had my G12 a short time but am finding it a really cabable camera. There is a HDR setting on it but it's not true HDR like a true SLR could produce. This isn't HDR however but it has been edited in PS to even the contrasts as Duncan says.
Mr Livesey seems far more in the know regarding the G12 than me, might be worth dropping him a message. From my humble point of view it seems as good as you can get without getting an SLR (and you can just about fit it in your pocket when climbing).
