Why is this photo wortyh more than the 1 star it was originally given.
1/ Its not that bad a shot
2/ Its a first ascent
3/ It's not tecnically incompetent.
Please can you come out and tell me why you only voted 1 for it?

How exactly is voting supposed to work then? Are you not allowed to vote less than 3 for photos?

If someone gave this a 1 then you would have to have a scale that went to minus 5, for all the reasons that Al says.
Thre is definitely a problem with people sometime voting against the person not the picture, (I think someone did this to me a few months ago), why should voting be anonymous?

I have no idea who the climber is and gave it a 1. I gave loads of Al's photos a 5 and he has some outstanding photos there. This isn't one of them I'm afraid. I didn't even notice the bolt.

woooooh I would have given this photograph a 4! why ? Not because its a spectacular vista but because its informative.
