For this image. I processed the RAW file in Lightroom 4, and sent it over to Photoshop, for some local contrast adjustment, setting of the white points, resizing and a slight final sharpen.

Many thanks for that advice, can I ask why you use lightroom before Photoshop?

Only because I have the latest version of Lightroom with the updated sliders, and find its more precise at converting RAW files. I try an do most my processing in lightroom, and use PS for the final polish. :)
