Lovely set of photographs, Nadir. I notice you're using the new 5D, what lens were you using?

Thanks David , I was using the 17-40 L f4.0. Its my standard lens when I'm doing technical climbing but if I'm walking I'd carry my 70-200 f 4.0 non IS and a 50 macro or 1.4 depending where and what I was doing

Loving you recent pictures; they're very different to how I saw Tre Cime at the back end of June (one gigantic cloud).
Can I ask how you carry your 17-40/5d combo when on a big route? I hadn't found a good way and have ditched it for an S95 to avoid the weight.

I carry the camera in a lowepro toploader on a shoulder strap and a krab attaching it to the rear gear loop on my harness. The tripod plate on the base of the camera has a loop of 4mm cord attaching it to the case so i cant lose the camera. The shoulder strap does rub against my neck so i try and have a buff to stop chaffing if im wearing a t shirt

Weight is a bit of problem, but it's worth it!
