I was living in Vancouver and had built a ski cabin at Mt Baker in Washington State - at that time a place for hard skiing, hard drinking and partying.
Some of my old mates from the UK came to stay and it was a memorable time.

Ah, apologies Ian. I just assumed you'd taken the photograph, and to be fair, in the Wasp photo you look completely different - actually when I first saw that photo, I thought I was looking at Paul Williams - there's an unkanny likeness there! Don't let this put you off though - put some more up.

Thanks Paul - happy times indeed. As you know the North Cascades was one of Fred Beckey's old stomping grounds - did you ever get up there to climb ?
