Great pic. Can't understand why anybody would give it a 2. Great colour etc.

Probably because they don't like the PS work - wasn't me, by the way. What does the original look like?

I was intrigued by this photo, sadly been overly p/s but, I`d like to see the original as I think it`s a good photo, 2* who the fcuk ?

It is a composition of two images the sky and the foreground. I will post them both (I think you will be able to see them on my profile.
I'd like to think I'm not bad at photography but I know I've got a lot to learn with Photoshop.

Nice idea, not too many good composite images in climbing yet.
Afraid I'd say that the mask's edges are too sharp and the colour balance of the forground doesn't match the background: have a gander at some compositing tutorials on youtube and enjoy losing hours to photoshop...

Things like this are always controversial. It depends whether you want to judge it as a technical accomplishment or as a work of art. I'd judge it by the latter criterion, and I really like it. The figures are good, both being thoroughly engaged, I love the colouring of the rock and the sky is pretty special. I think the two score suggests a lot of technical carping, so perhaps my 5 will give it a tiny tweak up. Not that it matters a jot.

Looks like you're on Bollard Edge, not Toe Rail: good pic though!

Thank you all for your comments, all valid points andI agree depending onthe perspective of the veiwer (technical photo or art) will depend on your feelings. I'm more of a photographer than an artist and I am certenly no pro in photo shop as you can see.
I'm glad its got a few prople talking, thanks for taking the time to view it.

Yup, it's Bollard Edge, not Toe Rail.
