Help please. 40m of beautiful steep climbing. Rises rightwards on huge positive holds all the way, never more then 4a in difficulty. 30m of good gear, then 10m vertical runout to finish. Predictably cleaning required but always solid bedrock available. Thoroughly recommended for steady leaders. But what grade? V. Diff or VS? Any similar routes out there?

Severe 4a?
Hope things are well.

Aye, you're probably right. Just felt "very".

The 10m vertical runout (if its ~4a) takes the route into MVS / VS territory.
You'd have been at your limit there anyway Mike, it must have been terrifying for you ;-)

Cheers John, the Rockfax table is pretty spot on around that area. Bold 4a as VS gives suitable health warning but better with a few bolts so we can start a sports guide to the Cuillin. Slainte, M

Haha! Looks a nice route anyway. Great idea about the CSG. A lot of the stuff on Sron na Ciche & Eastern Buttress could do with a bit of "modernisation". Have a great summer. J'boy
