Don't let anyone put an almost empty gas canister on top of it. It woke the neighbours and ruined the primus when someone did it to mine

Ye I've got a pile of these 1x1/2 pint, 3x1 pint and a big 2 pint picnic special. Great stoves though.

Kept me alive one New Year's eve in Glencoe. We'd got pi$$ed, pitched a tent without a flysheet and sat in driving rain all night huddled over the flame which we carefully nurtured - kept it going for hours. Still amazed we didn't die from CO poisoning.

Bought mine in "one of the oldest sports stores in the world", Greaves in Glasgow in 1968 and it is still in regular use - as long as I don't need to carry it too far!
