Oh no indeed! This was more of a tactical retreat than a fall, there's only so far you can downclimb balancy aretes. It wasn't the only time he took this jump that day.

The surroundings are slightly out of focus compared to your other fall shots, I gave it a 4.

I think its actually my unsteady hand and a slow shutter speed. From memory its 1/30s, intended to give the impression of motion, but I think I inadvertently followed Dan's motion as I took it. Too much panic! Maybe I could use something in the background as an aid to keeping the camera steady in future. Thanks again for the feedback Mark
