A true "Diminutive genius" as an impressionable young girl once labelled him.
Tony Stead - 15/Mar/14
Actually Tony the term did not come from a young girl, but from an article in The Times Educational Supplement written by someone from the Haberdashers School. They had stayed at Og Cot and while there had completed the "Three Thousanders" walk.
The article was full of praise for the Cot and each of the instructors was given a little verbal portrait. I can't remember them all but George Thomas was described as "rugged and friendly" and Mo as the "diminutive little genius among the rocks".
This led to Al Hunt and I calling him "Dim" or "Dimmy" !
