I found this really difficult problem. I almost cracked it but couldn't figure out which way to go - any suggestion?

If only I had a say.

If you go left there are hidden riches beyond your wildest dreams. Yes really, just out of shot, round the corner...

I think your problem is that you are trying to hold the block together, which is wasting a lot of your time and energy.

like it Dan, have a 5, it's the only vote I will get!

Hang there a few more days - you will be promised riches beyond belief...

And I thought we English were not allowed a vote!

Cheeky!

I think one of the holds is about to break away, oh well never mind. (Could we send Cameron up there to try to keep it together?)

Scotland looks much smaller than I'd imagined. Now I Can't quite get my head around all the fuss over one little rock.
JLS - 14/Sep/14
JLS, it's a photo from space. The climber is 95 miles tall. Don't worry.
abseil - 15/Sep/14
Ah well, time to back off then.

Very clever
kiwi boy - 20/Sep/14
I think the answer was "no"

I suggest a traverse of the 'Great Glen', avoiding the potentially dangerous (to English climbers) 'Glasgow Gorbals'. This will bring you out on the 'Dreams of Oil' but is only a short climb that leads on to 'Currency Nightmare'. Alternative routes include 'Arc of Prosperity' 'Norwegian Connection' and 'Salmond's Leap' - A lot of skill required to negotiate without any climbing aids or eyes open. Good luck! :-)
