In October 1964 this was my first ever rock climb. Today, Father, Son, Grandson and Granddaughter, plus a host of friends all repeated the route. Great day out.

Is that a good old 1960's waist belay? Keeping the old traditions alive.

Yes it is. Teach 'em the basics first. I really should also have worn an old pair of plimsolls and a hairy shirt as I did in '64. But we had a fun afternoon anyway.
