There was a slab avalanche off my Clio bonnet minutes after this, I got lucky this time !!!

(a) Your arms are locked off. So you can't move either of them. So you are going to fall off. Use one arm at a time so you can move the other. Think A shape not H shape.
(b) Feet.

I was just about to get into a fig of 4 before placing a "sinker" pick placement halfway up the roof but as pylon noticed, there was huge avalanche potential and my garden isn't big enough for the big yellow taxi to A&E
